CRMC reports tools stolen

MOULTRIE — An estimated $200 worth of tools were stolen from Colquitt Regional Medical Center, police reports said.

Stacy Ussery, a CRMC employee, told police that several tools were taken from a shop locker in the rear of the hospital between Feb. 9 and Friday. There was no forced entry and several employees had keys to the locker, reports said.



Other incidents

A deputy found a dog that had been shot by a small caliber gun on the 400 block of David Newton Road Saturday afternoon, sheriff’s reports said. The dog, which looked like a chow, was alive and was turned over to the Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane Society.

Leon Sellars, of Holmes Drive, reported Saturday that two guns were stolen from his home, along with a knife and some jewelry, sheriff’s reports said.

Shannon Hancock, of Newsome Road, reported that $400 worth of fishing tackle was stolen from his back porch between Friday and Saturday, sheriff’s reports said.

Billy Faison, of Shade Murphy Road, reported that between Friday and Saturday, his mailbox and its post were destroyed, sheriff’s reports said.

Perry Bridges, of Bridges Salvage on Woodmen Road, reported that several parts were stolen from a V-8 engine in a Chevrolet race car parked in the business, sheriff’s reports said. Two compact disc players were also stolen.

Raymond Holton, of Seventh Street Southwest, reported Sunday that someone cut the screen on his front porch and stole a grass trimmer, police reports said.

Ron Williams, of Moultrie, reported that his 1999 white Chevrolet Silverado pickup was stolen from Pineview Manor Apartments between Sunday and Monday, police reports said. Williams told officers that he left the doors unlocked and the keys on the floor. A responding officer said the vehicle identification number Williams reported for the truck did not match a vehicle in the computer database, reports said.



Arrests

David Pope, 28, 924 Third Ave. S.E., was charged Friday with violating probation.

Cedric Gilbert, 62, 843 Shy Manor, Apt. 1, was charged Saturday with DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, open container, driving with a suspended license and five traffic offenses.

Herman Smith, 45, 914 Sevenths St. S.E., was charged Friday with violating parole.

Michael Richardson, 40, 624 Fifth St. N.W., was charged Friday with DUI and failure to stop for a stop sign.

Paulo Vazquez, 53, of Omega, was charged Sunday with DUI, driving without a license and failure to follow basic rules.

Steve Clark, 30, 831 Shy Manor, Apt. 1, was charged Saturday with resisting arrest and failure to obey an officer.

Linda Clark, 29, 515 Fourth Court N.W., was charged Sunday with resisting arrest, interfering with an arrest and violating probation.

Julian Rodriguez, 30, of Houston, Texas, was charged Saturday with DUI and speeding.

Leslie Barlow, 21, 289 Brice Road, Berlin, was charged Friday with violating probation.

Deborah Marley, 47, of Tifton, was charged Saturday with DUI.

George Wallace III, 26, 1210 12th St. S.W., was charged Saturday with violating probation.

Joseph Clyde, 36, 228 Cool Springs Road, was charged Saturday with violating probation and contempt of court.

Chad Reynolds, 23, of Thomasville, was charged Saturday with obstructing an officer.

Jason Stair, 26, 115 Cleveland St., Ellenton, was charged Thursday with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Jerry Tidwell, 27, 155 Cherokee Road, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and speeding.

Michael Glasgow, 29, 1008 Holmes Drive, was charged Friday with battery-family violence.

Victor Gonzalez, 29, 540 Circle Road, Lot 2, was charged Friday with obstructing an officer.
