Borrowed car isn't returned

MOULTRIE — Clint Acker reported to Colquitt County Sheriff’s deputies that he let an unknown black man borrow his 1994 Ford Thunderbird.
The man took the car from 812 Doc Darbyshire Road Lot 3 around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Acker said, and promised to return it. As of Wednesday morning, he had not.
Acker described the man as tall and slim, with one gold tooth.
Other incidents
Faye Johnson, 132 Quail Ridge Road, reported that someone forced the door to her home open and stole miscellaneous jewelry, with a total value of $1,000, from a bedroom between 5:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Regina Casteel, 3139 Ga. Hwy. 133 N., reported that someone entered her home between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole an RCA television and a stereo.
Marvin Thompson reported that someone broke the glass in the front door of his business located at 887 Ga. Hwy. 133 S. between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, taking two 200-pound tanks of compressed nitrogen.
Carrie Lambert, 1128 S. Main St. S.W., reported Wednesday that someone took a Murray riding mower from her residence.
Fredrick T. Whitehead, 1023 14th St. S.E., reported that female acquataince broke the rear window out of his Buick LeSabre.
Arrests
Guadalupe Albaroz Cruz, 28, Adel, was charged Wednesday with no license.
Francisco Montes, 31, Ellis May Road, was charged Wednesday with no license.
Russell Edward Morey, 26, 913 Third St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with sale of marijuana.
Willie Jerome Parrish, 21, 610 12th St. S.E. was charged Wednesday with carrying a concealed weapon and public drunkenness.
Timoth Michael Phelps, 20, 3222 Hwy. 37 W., was charged Wednesday with violating probation.
Fredrick T. Whitehead, 25, 1023 14th St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with violating probation.
