Shane Willis Drive collects more than 400 toys

MOULTRIE — The Moultrie Technical College SkillsUSA student organization wrapped up its 2012 M. Shane Willis Toy Drive by donating more than 400 toys to the Children’s Cheer and Toy Shop in Moultrie and the pediatric ward at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. The drive is held annually in December in memory of a former MTC student. The toys were collected throughout the college and from monetary donations from students, staff and faculty on both Moultrie campuses. Pictured is MTC SkillsUSA advisor and automotive technology instructor Lynn Tanner loading the van to deliver the toys.
