2nd annual R.B. Wright Toy Run

MOULTRIE — The R.B. Wright Elementary School Running Club, parents, faculty and staff, participated in the second annual R.B. Wright Toy Run. The entry fee to the race was a new toy; more than 50 toys were collected and given to the Christmas Cheer Shop. The winners in each grade were: 3rd grade boys, 1st Pershawn Fann, 2nd Jamad Willis, 3rd Hayes Lightsey; 3rd grade girls, 1st Caroline Chapura, 2nd Alison Bell, 3rd Aaliyah Ruffin; 4th grade boys, 1st Baylen Young, 2nd Timothy Fagan, 3rd Will Zember; 4th grade girls, 1st Lauren Bryant, 2nd Sara Strickland, 3rd Karli Yarbrough & Isabella Jacobs; 5th grade boys, 1st Lucas Tostenson, 2nd Bobby Ussery, 3rd Aaron Long; 5th grade girls, 1st Marlie Wingate, 2nd Graci Long, 3rd Mary Madelyn Jacobs; and among adults, 1st Michael Strickland, 2nd Jop Long, 3rd Amber Williams and Honorable Mention,Peggy Strickland.
