MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County High basketball teams will be at home on Friday and Saturday nights this week, playing host to Bainbridge and Worth County respectively at the Espy Gymnasium.
The Colquitt County girls will take a 3-0 record into its meeting with a strong Bainbridge team on Friday.
The Lady Packers have defeated Monroe twice and Worth County once in the early going.
Colquitt’s girls will go into the game against the Lady Cats coming off a 43-37 victory over Monroe in Albany on Saturday.
The Colquitt County boys team will welcome back a number of players from the Packers football team, which was eliminated from the playoffs last Friday in Camden County.
The Packers fell to Monroe 55-46 in Albany on Friday.
The Colquitt County boys got 12 points from Nate Hill and 11 from Luis Ballenilla. Trey While had nine, Cornelius James had eight and Lawhe Wingfield added six.
The Packers have not met Bainbridge yet, but fell to Worth County in Sylvester on Nov. 27, 67-52, despite 16 points by Hill.
