MOULTRIE —
The Moultrie YMCA level 3 and 4 gymnastics teams traveled recently to compete in Albany at the Outlaw Invitational Meet at the In Bound Gymnastics Gym.
This was the first competition of the new year.
“The girls were excited and a little nervous,” said coach Pat Murphy.
“The teams have had to go through several changes with Jessica Rockwell, their former coach moving to Montana in December and learning the style of our new coach Wendy Scites, but the kids came through with four nines.”
The level 4 team had the first session with Makenzie Smith leading the team with an all around of 34.85 for first place in the senior B division.

“Hailey has nice form,” Murphy said.
The team placed second with a 101.4.

After the storm passed and moving the equipment around was completed, the meet continued.
The team placed second by scoring a 106.4.
