ABAC Agricultural Business Club to hold sponsorship gala Jan. 29

TIFTON — The Agricultural Business Club and the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) team at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will host the inaugural “Fly Over the States” Sponsorship Gala on Jan. 29.  The event will take place at 7 p.m. at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village.

Tickets for the gala are $50 per person or $350 for a table of eight.  The deadline to reserve a ticket or table for this event is Jan. 22. Patrons of the gala will meet past and present NAMA members and be treated to a steak dinner and quality entertainment.

This event will benefit the 2013 ABAC NAMA team and its goal of competing in this year’s Student Marketing Competition.  Last year the team competed against universities from across the United States and Canada, advancing to the semifinals of the competition. This year the ABAC team hopes to make it to the final round of competition and be recognized as one of the top six teams in the nation.

To purchase tickets to the “Fly Over the States” Sponsorship Gala or to make a tax deductible donation, interested persons can contact Audrey Luke-Morgan, lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, at (229) 391-4807 or via e-mail at alukemorgan@abac.edu
