Love the child
“I guess preachers all over the country talked about the sanctity of life Sunday morning. Then all the good Christians went home and bashed Obama for wasting their tax money on poor people. Guess what -- a lot of this money goes to feed and care for children. Why is it so easy to love the fetus but so hard to love the child?
This is why I don't vote Republican anymore. I can't respect someone who runs on the platform of pro-life and then votes against funding programs that help children actually have a decent life, things like Headstart that give them a fighting chance. Kids don't pick their parents or the situations they're born into."
EBT issues
“I sure don't drive a Cadillac but I don't drive a clunker either. I use an EBT card. It is my ex-husband's. It is the only form of child support I get since he refuses to pay any other way. Yes, there is EBT fraud around...but there are lots of cases like mine too. And yes, I have asked my mother (who does drive a Cadillac) to use the EBT card to pick up groceries for my children."

“I work in the homes of several mentally handicapped individuals who cannot buy their own groceries. One of my job duties is buying their food with their food stamp card. If you were behind me in line, would you shake your head when I got into my nice vehicle also? I'm simply doing my job. Please learn not to judge others when you don't know the whole story."

“To the ‘crotch rocket’ post: I ride a motorcycle and as some would call a ‘crotch rocket’ and I don't think cracking down on them is an issue.
Cars and trucks around town will drive just as fast. So just because sport bikes are known to be fast and loud doesn't mean they need to be singled out.
Get off of your horse and go complain about something else more important."
