Timothy Vaughn

NORMAN PARK — Timothy Otis “Timmy” Vaughn, 44, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at his home.

Graveside rites will be 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial gardens with the Rev. Omar Hancock officiating. Casketbearers will be Michael Monk, David Smith, Chris Ziegler, Billy Hobgood Jr., Matthew Hobgood and Johnathan Hobgood.

Born July 22, 1967, in Macon, he was the son of Eugene Talmadge Vaughn Sr. and Sandra Elizabeth Fielder. He was a carpenter with Tommy Smith Construction Company and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Rene Hancock Vaughn of Norman Park; one son, Timothy Allen Vaughn and Nikki Robinson of Norman Park; one step-son, Ryan Hancock of Norman Park; his father, Eugene Talmadge Vaughn Sr. and wife Sandra of Lizella, Ga.; his mother, Sandra Elizabeth Fielder of Moultrie; two sisters, Janeane Bullard and Craig Cobb of Moultrie and Felisha Renee Hobgood and husband Billy of Norman Park; three brothers, Eugene T. Vaughn Jr. and wife Gabrielle of Lizella, Ga., George Edward Vaughn of Moultrie and Joseph Allen Vaughn and wife Missy of Doerun; two grandchildren, Caleb Hancock and Jacob Hancock; and other family members.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, on Saturday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

The family may be contacted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hobgood, 1066 R.L. Norman Road in Norman Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
