Debbie Stafford Woodlief

MOULTRIE — Debbie Stafford Woodlief, 74, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ken Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Zane Gunn, Randall Freeman, Jerry Page, Nathan Beaty, Tim Barber and Randall Martin. Brandie Gunn will serve as an honorary casketbearer.

Born Dec. 8, 1937, in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late Barney Stafford and Ida Bell Pyles Stafford. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

“She loved gardening, flowers and her family”, her family remembered of her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Lee Woodlief; four brothers, Earl Stafford, Sonny Stafford, Morris Stafford and Bo Stafford; one sister, Eloyce Whitley; and one grandson, Randall Keith Martin.

Survivors include one son, Tim Woodlief and wife Linda of Berlin; three daughters, Suzanne Martin and husband Randall of Norman Park, Terry Howard and husband Phillip of Moultrie and Millie Woodlief of Moultrie; one brother, Richard Stafford and wife Vicki of Alaska; three sisters, Louisa Gaines and husband Ray of Tallahassee, Fla., and Linda Stafford and Esther Lashley, both of Moultrie; four grandchildren, Camden Woodlief, Leeann Martin, Tony Maples and Tyler Maples; two great-grandchildren, Zane Gunn and Brandie Gunn; and a special friend, Denise Page.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today, Feb. 2, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

The family may be contacted at the residence, 614 Cherokee Drive in Moultrie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
