MIAMI, Fla. — Mary Ellen Ridley of Miami, Fla., formerly of Moultrie, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, in Miami, Fla.
She is survived by her brother, Y.J. Davis of Moultrie.
Levon Brooks
MOULTRIE — Levon Brooks, 58, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

David Allen Cook
MOULTRIE — David Allen Cook, 50, of Moultrie, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Cobb Funeral Chapel, with Shane Saunders, Patricia Saunders and Zackary Saunders officiating. He will be cremated following the funeral service.
Born May 30, 1957, in Bay County, Fla., to James Fredrick Cook Sr. and the late Doris Delores Price Cook, he was a retired customer service manager for Wal-Mart Supercenter in Moultrie and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his father, James Fredrick Cook Sr. of Moultrie; two brothers, James F. Cook Jr. and wife Nancy of Tampa, Fla., and Ron F. Cook and wife Jeannie of Doerun; one sister, Patricia D. Cook Saunders and husband Ricky of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews, Shane, Joshua, Lauri and Zackary Cook, Marie Ford, Bruce, Michael and Chad Cook, Todd Johnson and Melanie Tillery.
The family will receive friends today, Sept. 12, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Arthur “Ott” Russell
MOULTRIE — Arthur “Ott” Russell, 82, of Moultrie, formerly of Coolidge, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside rites will be 11 a.m. today, Sept. 12, at Murphy Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Scarborough officiating.
Born June 8, 1925, in Madison County, Ga., he was the son of the late John and Lizzie Norton Russum. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a retired welder. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Russell, Andy Russell and Rodney Russell and wife Delinda, all of Moultrie; two daughters, Vicki Blanton of Thomasville and Sheila Rogers of Pavo; one brother, Oscar Russell of Anderson, S.C.; two sisters, Sarah Neal Crosby of Coolidge and Willie Coker of Comer, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
