Rotary Club honors local law enforcement

Officers of the Year named

MOULTRIE — The Moultrie Rotary Club on Tuesday recognized the Officers of the Year from each of seven local law enforcement agencies:

• Sgt. Chris Robinson of the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office.

• Sgt. Stephen Colgan of the Moultrie Police Department.

• Sgt. Millard Baker of the Colquitt County Prison.

• Trooper First Class Michael Moses of the Georgia State Patrol.

• Officer Terry Allegood of Moultrie Probation.

• Officer Michael Stalvey of Moultrie Parole.

• Ranger Tony Cox of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

For Robinson, it was the third award this month. The Moultrie Board of Realtors named him Deputy of the Month at its January meeting, and MADD South Georgia presented him with its VIP Speaker of the Year Jan. 12.
