NORMAN PARK —
One Colquitt County man has pulled a jackpot prize from a Fantasy 5 drawing. Joseph Hullett of Norman Park has won $310,258 from matching all five winning numbers from the Nov. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing.
“We can buy a better home and have a better Christmas,” exclaimed Hullett, 44.
Winning numbers from the Nov. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 21-22-29-33-34.
The lucky Quik Pik ticket was sold at the Omega 786, 5530 N. Alabama Ave. in Omega.
Hullett discovered he’d won the following day when he called the Georgia Lottery’s Player Information Hot Line.
“I woke up my daughter to show her the results, and she started crying,” he said. “I believed it at that moment.”
The lucky winner has two children and two grandchildren.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
