MOULTRIE — A woman accused of providing pornography to three boys faces child molestation charges, a Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said.
Mary Amanda West, 40, 242 Tallokas Estates, was charged Wednesday with four counts of child molestation related to the allegations, sheriff’s investigator David Corona said. At least one of the boys, ages 7, 12 and 14, are related to West, and another is a neighbor.
“Basically she bought pornographic material for one of the juveniles and allowed the juveniles to view it,” Corona alleged.
The pornographic materials consisted of a DVD and a magazine, he said. The alleged incidents occurred in late December or early January at West’s residence.
Investigators have interviewed a second potential suspect which could result in a second arrest.
“The Department of Family and Childrens Services contacted me on Miss West allowing children to see pornographic material,” Corona said. “I conducted interviews with three different children, and her and one other person.”
In addition, West’s arrest came prior to the interview with one of the boys so additional charges could be filed against her related to him, Corona said.
