MOULTRIE —
Seven Colquitt County residents and a business employee reported they were recent victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included electronics, guns, cash, car parts, clothing and a saw.
The value of the items reported stolen was about $16,889. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:
• Ashley Johnson, of Seventh Avenue Southwest, reported a thief stole a Motorola cell phone and an LG cell phone between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 2:58 a.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen cell phones was $170. Johnson gave officers the name of a male suspect.
• Damien Brown reported a thief stole an Acer laptop computer and its charger from his Ford F-150 while it was parked at Moultrie Technical College on North Veterans Parkway between 9 a.m. and noon Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $380.
• An employee at Cedar River Seafood on North Veterans Parkway reported Thursday a thief stole seven night deposits between July 25 and Aug. 15. The amount of the stolen deposits was about $8,000.
• Elijah Strickland, of Perryman Road, reported a thief stole a Toshiba 39-inch television, a Sony PlayStation 3, a Gateway computer, a Sony PlayStation 2, an H&K 9mm handgun, a pair of Nike shoes and two replica jerseys between 7:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen items was $4,499.
• Marty Powell, of C.S. Powell Road in Omega, reported a thief threw a brick through a side window and stole a .22-caliber revolver, a Dell laptop computer, a 32-inch television and a DirecTV satellite receiver between 8 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen items was $1,399.
• Dylan Lollar, of East Weeks Street in Norman Park, reported a thief stole a radiator and an Everstart battery from his Jeep Wrangler between Aug. 12 and 2 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen items was $350.
• Kirby Fender, of Cleveland Street in Ellenton, reported a thief stole 20 shirts, 20 pairs of pants and shorts, two pairs of American Eagle boxers, a pair of Black Anarchy sunglasses, a pair of Nike shoes, two pairs of Oakley flip flops, two pairs of American Eagle flip flops, four hats, a Boost Mobile cell phone and five pairs of American Eagle socks between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $1,941. Fender gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a female suspect.
• William Hickie, of 21st Avenue Northeast, reported a male relative stole a Milwaukee saw and pawned it between 3:16 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen saw was $150.

• Kristy Nicole Weldon, 25, of 193 Weather Road, was charged Thursday with theft by shoplifting. She allegedly tried to steal a variety of items, valued at about $92, from Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway.
• Ryan Patrick Rockwood, 19, of 193 Weather Road, was charged Thursday with theft by shoplifting. He allegedly tried to steal a variety of items, valued at about $92, from Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway.
• Edward Kris White, 34, of 337 Widow White Road in Meigs, was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
• Joel Keith White, 42, of 138 Highway 33 S., was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.
• Jeanine Marie Wyatt, 43, of 490 Tree Farm Road, was charged Thursday with DUI, an open container violation, driving without a license on her person and failure to maintain lane.
• A juvenile was charged Thursday with entering an automobile.

• Michael James Ethridge, 28, of 1802 West Blvd., was charged Wednesday with criminal attempt to manufacture methamphetamine.
Georgia State Patrol
• Clay Manson Taylor, 54, of 1264 Bay Rockyford Road in Hartsfield, was charged Thursday with DUI and a seatbelt violation.

Moultrie Police
• Christine Yeomans, of Berlin, reported Wednesday a female relative forged and cashed a check Aug. 4. The amount of the forged check was $300.
• Aleena Hauser, of Wiregrass Circle, reported someone egged the driver’s side of her Ford F-150 truck between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:50 a.m. Thursday. Damage was estimated at $100.

• Ashley McDaniel, of Highway 319 North, reported a male acquaintance punched out a bedroom window and kicked the front door, damaging the door jam and the door knob Thursday.
