Legget convicted of molestation

Judge sets sentencing for May 3

MOULTRIE — A Moultrie man convicted in the molestation of an 11-year old girl and a related burglary charge will be sentenced May 3 in the case, Colquitt County documents said.

Superior Court Judge James E. Hardy ordered a pre-sentencing report be prepared for Jasper Leggett Jr. prior to imposing a sentence.

Leggett, 25, also known as Dramourno Jones, was convicted on the counts on Friday.

He was accused of the Sept. 12, 2010, nighttime entry into a residence in the 300 block of Seventh Street Southwest during which he fondled the girl, court documents said.
