MOULTRIE —
For the second straight year, the Colquitt County High football team has advanced to the Class AAAAA state semifinals and fans will be able to see the GPB broadcast of the Packers game against Grayson High streamed live on our website at www.moultrieobserver.com.
After falling to eventual state champion Camden County in 2009, the Packers will try to advance to the state championship game for the first time since 1994 when they travel to take on Grayson at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Loganville.
The two Class AAAAA semifinals include four Gwinnett County schools and Colquitt County, the lone South Georgia team remaining.

Suspects charged in separate shootings
Law enforcement brought murder charges this week against a Moultrie man who was interviewed in the days following the fatal shooting of Norman Park resident Dusty Carroll. A suspect has also been charged in an unrelated, non-fatal shooting March 10.
