MOULTRIE —
Stephanie Terrell, assistant principal at Colquitt County High School, has been named 2012-2013 Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals, “High School Assistant Principal of the Year.”
Terrell, as one of four finalists, was interviewed by an eight-member principal committee that included the current Assistant Principal of the Year. Terrell will serve on this committee next year as part of the prestige of the award. She will receive a $500 award sponsored by Horace Mann.
Colquitt County High School Principal Bob Jones shared, “Stephanie exemplifies the qualities of a well-read, competent professional, but she also possesses the ability to interact with her colleagues and our students in a professional manner that is only exceeded by her sincere, caring, and responsible personality. This trait has made her a respected member of our staff.”
Terrell earned her bachelor’s degree in math education, her master’s in secondary education, and her educational specialist in school administration all from Valdosta State University.
