Suspect charged in slaying

MOULTRIE — A Coolidge man is in Colquitt County Jail on murder and other charges related to the Friday night slaying of a woman who apparently was abducted outside a Moultrie convenience store.

Alphonso Moore, 20, has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Steve Turner, special agent in charge of the Thomasville Georgia Bureau of Investigation office said Monday.
