Arrests:
Moultrie Police
• Kevin Anthony Jackson, 20, of 123 Poppy Lane in Byron, was charged Sunday with forgery.
• Diego Sebastian, 32, of 102 Sylvester Drive, was charged Sunday with theft by shoplifting. He allegedly tried to steal a wallet, valued at about $5, from Roses on Sixth Street Southeast.
• Moises Ruiz, 23, of 514 Sleepy Bear Road in Norman Park, was charged Sunday with DUI (second offense), driving without a license (second offense), two counts of an open container violation and improper backing.
• Placido Lievanos, 52, of 236 Lisa Lane, was charged Friday with an open container violation.
• Stephanie Jarvis Williams, 28, of 209 Lakeshore Road, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license.
• Jakeel Marantz McCullough, 21, of 181 Blair Drive in Cairo, was charged Saturday with driving without a license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Lawrence William Banks, 22, of 700 First St. S.W., Apt. 4, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Terry Brian Nolen, 40, of 421 E. Gate Circle in Norman Park, was charged Saturday with DUI less safe driver and two counts of failure to maintain lane.
• Michael Anthony Cody, 48, of 712 First St. S.W., Apt. C, was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office
• Pedro Hernandez Mendez, 21, of Cairo, was charged Sunday with driving without a license.
• Rhonda Sutton, 37, of 118 Green Dairy Road, was charged Wednesday with the false report of a crime.
• Cedric Antonio Jones, 26, of 316 Tallokas Road, was charged Thursday with theft by taking.
• Keisha Marie Hiers, 28, of Sylvester Highway, was charged Thursday with forgery.
• A 16-year-old boy was charged Dec. 8 with theft by taking.
Georgia State Patrol
• Vickie Lynn Taylor, 48, of 192 Red Tip Drive in Thomasville, was charged Sunday with failure to register a vehicle, driving with a suspended license, DUI and failure to report an accident.
• David Padilla Jimenez, 33, of 2221 Highway 133 N., was charged Friday with driving without a license, DUI, DUI child endangerment and following too closely.
Doerun Police
• Eloisa Bartalon, 27, of 472 Crosland-Scooterville Road in Omega, was charged Friday with no proof of insurance, speeding in a school zone, affixing a plate to conceal identity and driving without as license on her person.

Colquitt County High School bid farewell to its 2012 seniors during graduation exercises Saturday morning at Mack Tharpe Stadium at Tom White Field. Scheduled for graduation were 471 students.

Tragedy to keep Ryan James from graduation
Ryan won’t walk after all.
A hue and cry went up earlier this week when the Colquitt County Board of Education refused to let a senior with a developmental disability walk at today’s graduation. The board reversed its decision on Wednesday, but tragic events will prevent Ryan James from joining his classmates at Mack Tharpe Stadium. -
