Senior Citizen Christmas Party
There will be a Christmas party for seniors at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Doerun Community Center. Ed Tillman will be entertaining at the party.
MHS Class of 1960 meeting

Third Annual Rainbow Tea Program
Sinner Friend Baptist Church, in Hartsfield, will have its Third Annual Rainbow Tea Program on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. The Rev. Bobby Power will be the guest speaker and The C & W Gospelettes will be the guest musicians. The Rev. W.B. Sales is pastor.

Tragedy to keep Ryan James from graduation
Ryan won’t walk after all.
A hue and cry went up earlier this week when the Colquitt County Board of Education refused to let a senior with a developmental disability walk at today’s graduation. The board reversed its decision on Wednesday, but tragic events will prevent Ryan James from joining his classmates at Mack Tharpe Stadium. -
