MOULTRIE — Two Colquitt County residents and three businesses reported they were recent victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included cell phones, power tools, transmissions, a bicycle, wiring and a load of lumber.
The value of the items reported stolen was estimated at $9,907. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:
• An employee at Prepaid Zone on Sixth Street Southeast reported a thief stole a BlackBerry cell phone and a Motorola cell phone Tuesday but returned one of them Wednesday. The value of the stolen cell phone was $181.
• An employee at Jackson Transmission on West Central Avenue reported a thief stole 20 transmissions between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen transmissions was estimated at $3,000.
• An employee at Johnson Tree Service reported two male acquaintances stole a load of lumber from a work site on Ingram Street in Berlin and sold it to Beadles Lumber Co. between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen lumber was $1,200.
• Melton Mercer reported a thief stole wire off a pivot in his field at the intersection of Swords Road and S.F. Baker Road in Omega between 6 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen wire was $4,000.
• Peter Phillips reported a thief stole a Cannondale bicycle, a Ryobi saw, a grinder, a Dewalt drill and a 200-foot roll of copper wire from his shed on Doerun-Norman Park Road between Nov. 15 and Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $1,526. Phillips gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a female suspect.

Moultrie Police
• Eulalia Martinez, 31, of 2217 Sylvester Drive, was charged Wednesday with driving without a license.
Colquitt County S.O.
• Martin Lopez, 26, of 10119 Majestic Plum Circle in Riverview, Fla., was charged Nov. 27 with driving without a license and speeding.
• A 16-year-old boy was charged Tuesday with theft by taking and simple battery.
