Dozens of arrests made over weekend

MOULTRIE — Dozens of arrests came over the weekend on a wide array of charges ranging from drug possession to family violence. Among them were:

Moultrie Police

• Synder Normil, 23, of 3876 Northside Drive, Apt. 2305, in Macon, was charged Monday with DUI, driving with a suspended license and speeding.

• Walter Oneal Mitchell Jr., 18, of 812 Doc Darbyshire Road in Norman Park, was charged Sunday with driving without a license and head lights required.

• Miranda Lee Martin, 31, of 1421 Sunrise Ave., was charged Sunday with a child restraint violation and probation violation.

• Marco Nelson, 22, of 805 10th St. S.E., was charged Sunday with obstruction, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and simple battery (family violence).

• John Edward Dent, 27, of 210 Seventh St. S.W., was charged Sunday with DUI (third offense), driving with a revoked license (third offense), two counts of an open container violation, failure to maintain lane and following too closely.

• Gerardo Ramos Lopez, 25, of 1284 C. Vanest Road in Ridge Spring, S.C., was charged Saturday with driving without a license, two counts of a child restraint violation and no proof of insurance.

• Bobby Gene Weldon Jr., 18, of 758 Glen Willis Road in Meigs, was charged Saturday with DUI, failure to maintain lane and illegal possession of alcohol.

• Joseph Blake Thompson, 17, of 39 Railroad St., was charged Saturday with illegal possession of alcohol.

• A juvenile girl was charged Saturday with illegal possession of alcohol.

• Jermaine Edward Davis, 21, of 2309 Beattie Road in Albany, was charged Friday with DUI, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.

• India Dell Gammons, 30, of 815 Sixth St. N.W., Apt. C, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

• Geraldine Crawford, 38, of 917 Sixth St. N.W., Apt. A, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

• A juvenile boy was charged Friday with battery and disorderly conduct.

• Fernando Martinez, 24, of 271 DeMott Road, was charged Friday with driving without a license and failure to yield the right of way.

• Vivian Denise Crews, 40, of 805 Eighth Ave. S.E., was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.

• Sedric Dewayne Lightsey, 42, of 805 Eighth Ave. S.E., was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Cheryl Hargraves Wagner, 47, of Moultrie, was charged Wednesday with issuing bad checks.

• Billy Slocumb, 25, of 2021 S. Main St., was charged Nov. 23 with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of methamphetamine.

• Dereck Scott McDaniel, 28, of 3202 Old Adel Road, Lot 3, was charged Nov. 23 with manufacturing methamphetamine.

• Ronnie Ledale Livingston, 39, of 115 Garden Lane, Apt. 2, was charged Tuesday with four counts of burglary and two counts of theft by deception.

• A 15-year-old girl was charged Thursday with being an unruly child.



Georgia State Patrol

• Eddie Brown, 58, of 134 Walker St. in Norman Park, was charged Thursday with DUI and failure to stop at a stop sign.

• Catlin Nicholas Peterson, 24, of 406 Sixth St. S.W., was charged Thursday with speeding.

• Jose Vidal Martinez, 35, of 14125 Tallokas Road in Pavo, was charged Wednesday with DUI, driving without a license and speeding.

• Shane Edwards Henderson, 31, of 1330 Highway 319 N., Lot 38, in Norman Park, was charged Wednesday with DUI and a seatbelt violation.

• Thomas Jerome Brannen, 23, of 1416 Cool Springs Road, was charged Sunday with DUI, failure to maintain lane, driving with a suspended license and probation violation.



Doerun Police

• Edward Ray Prince, 30, of 849 Hillandale Lane in Lithonia, was charged Sunday with giving false information to an officer, driving without a license and speeding.

Moultrie Police

• Reginald Baker, of Sunrise Avenue, reported someone broke out a window on his back door between 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and 11:10 p.m. Sunday.

• Maximino Zacarias reported someone threw a rock or brick at the windshield of his Chevrolet Cavalier, breaking it, as he drove on Goff Drive Sunday.

• Kendra Canty, of Fourth Avenue Northeast, reported someone scratched the driver’s side of her Honda Accord between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:55 a.m. Sunday. Damage was estimated at about $500.

• An officer on patrol found someone spray painted graffiti on a vacant house on Regency Village Drive between Nov. 24 and 10:32 a.m. Friday. Damage was estimated at about $500.

• Darlene Enriquez, of Regency Village Drive, reported a thief stole 10 bath towels, a package of toilet paper, two pots, pillow cases, her prescription medication and CD’s between Nov. 17 and 9 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen items was $126.

• Hoa Nguyen, of Fourth Avenue Northeast, reported a thief kicked in his door and stole a 27-inch television, a portable DVD player, a pack of coffee and a jar with change inside between 9 a.m. and 9:32 p.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $505.

• Tareva Clay reported a thief stole $120 cash from her Oldsmobile Alero while it was parked at Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway Wednesday.

• Roy Johnson reported a thief stole an antique mirror, a recliner couch, a Sanyo 26-inch television and a toaster over from his storage unit on Camilla Highway between Nov. 11 and 3:23 p.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $1,850.

• Dell Alford reported a thief kicked in the front door of his residence on Sunrise Avenue and stole a freezer, a twin bed set and furniture between Nov. 24 and 10:36 a.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $250.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Michelle Courtney, of Lakeshore Road, reported a thief stole 91 prescription medication pills between 9:30 a.m. and 5:47 p.m. Sunday. The value of the stolen medication was $130. Courtney gave sheriff’s deputies the names of a male suspect and a female suspect.

• Gracy Padilla, of Sylvester Drive, reported a thief stole a graduation ring, a gold ring with a Christ portrait and a gold bracelet between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Sunday. The value of the stolen items was $1,700. Padilla gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Buzz Register, of Tallokas Road, reported two dogs came onto his property and attacked his pigs Thursday. One of the pigs was severely injured in the attack.

• Van Gordon, of Mount Olive Church Road, reported a thief stole a jar containing cash and coins between Nov. 8 and noon Sunday. The value of the stolen items was about $1,000. Gordon gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Tawny Workman, of Magnolia Avenue, reported a thief pried open her front door and stole a Vizio 32-inch television Sunday. The value of the stolen television was $498. Workman gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Trina Strickland, of Highway 111, reported a thief broke a back door window and stole an RCA 15.4-inch television and DVD combination unit, a Hewlett-Packard computer, two Magnavox 42-inch televisions, a 50-inch television, a handgun, a miter saw, an air compressor and two Zebco rods and reels between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Friday. Strickland gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Charles Alligood, of Bay Road, reported a thief stole a Samsung 35-inch television, a Phillips 25-inch television and a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer between 5:30 p.m. and 9:53 p.m. Friday. The value of the stolen items was $3,250.

• Joey Fowler reported a thief stole a window air conditioning unit, a vacuum cleaner, a microwave and two machetes from a rental property on Funston-Sigsbee Road between Nov. 21 and 8 a.m. Friday. The value of the stolen items was $345. Fowler gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Dennis Sheffield, of Gene McQueen Road, reported a thief stole a Sony CD player from his GMC Sierra truck between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen CD player was $400.

• Torrey Leggett reported someone broke the driver’s door handle and threw a beer bottle through the driver’s side window of a Ford Fusion while it was parked on Highway 319 North in Norman Park Thursday. Damage was $350. Leggett gave sheriff’s deputies the names of two male suspects.
