5:15 p.m. updates: Tomorrow's headlines


• At least a dozen arrests were reported Wednesday in Moultrie and Colquitt County and several incidents of property theft are being investigated. They include:

Arrests:

Moultrie Police

• Teodulfo Lazaro, of 601 First St. N.W., was charged Wednesday with public indecency and public drunkenness (fourth offense).

• Steven Duane Larion, 31, of 1404 Third Ave. S.E., was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness (third offense).

• Joshua Keith Wagner, 17, of 219 Meadowood Drive in Anderson, S.C., was charged Wednesday with driving without a license, driving with a suspended tag and head lights required.

• Timothy Dean, 30, of 1104 16th St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.

• Maria Enceo, 27, of 1038 Second St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with theft by shoplifting. She allegedly tried to steal various cosmetic items, valued at $154, from Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway.

• Karen Lopez Mendoza, 22, of 555 Christmas Road in Morven, was charged Wednesday with theft by shoplifting. She allegedly tried to steal various cosmetic items, valued at $154, from Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway.

• Timothy John Hilton, 55, of 123 Edmondson Road, was charged Wednesday with being a habitual violator, DUI (third offense), driving with a revoked license (third offense) and making an improper lane change.

• Juan Batista, 39, of 502 Doc Darbyshire Road in Norman Park, was charged Wednesday with public drunkenness.

• Tawon Jamar Warren, 27, of 916 Fourth Ave. S.W., was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Pedro Martinez, 24, of 805 Esmit Road, was charged Wednesday with being a pedestrian under the influence.



Georgia State Patrol

• Lynton Lee Cox, 54, of 222 Indian Creek Subdivision, was charged Wednesday with DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving with suspended registration, no proof of insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.

• William Justin Collins, 44, of 19 Indian Creek Subdivision, was charged Wednesday with DUI, an open container violation, driving with suspended registration and no proof of insurance.



Berlin Police

• Ronnye Nelson III, 22, of 804 Notre Dame Ave. in Albany, was charged Wednesday with DUI.



Other Incidents:

Moultrie Police

• Tina Anderson, of Third Avenue Southwest, reported a thief stole her Motorola cell phone between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen phone was $200.

• Melvin Dillard, of Joe Louis Avenue, reported a thief stole his AT&T; Neon cell phone Wednesday. The value of the stolen cell phone was $300. Dillard gave officers the name of a female suspect.

• Elmer Rayburn reported a thief stole a Whirlpool washer and a Whirlpool dryer from his storage unit on East Central Avenue between Oct. 15 and 12:24 p.m. Wednesday. The value of the stolen items was $954.

• Shaveka Phillips, of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, reported someone scratched all over her Honda Accord between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

• Wayne Cooper reported a thief damaged the air conditioning unit at a house he was managing on West Central Avenue and stole the copper and parts from inside between Nov. 12 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
