Berlin Mayor Dale Williams was re-elected to a second term Tuesday, with unofficial results giving him 67 votes to 29 votes for challenger Jerry Evers. For the Berlin Council, Tina Bridwell and Curtis Akridge won the two council seats up for election, beating out incumbents Reggie Merritt and Lonnie Cannon and challenger Ray Meeks. Bridwell received 61 votes, Akridge was given 39 votes, Merritt received 37 votes as a write-in candidate, Cannon received 29 votes and Meeks received 21 votes in unofficial results.
