MOULTRIE —
A woman seriously injured in a fire Jan. 3 has died.
Mary Frances Stone Bozeman Bryant, 41, of Moultrie, died Friday, Feb. 1, at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. She was airlifted there the day of the fire.

Firefighters found Bryant in the upstairs part of her home at 111-1/2 11th St. S.W. as they fought the early morning fire. She was in critical condition as she was airlifted to Augusta about three hours later, accordiing to reports at the time.
The Moultrie Fire Department was investigating the cause of the fire and has not announced any findings from that investigation.
Bryant is the second person killed in a fire this season. The body of Amanda Martinez, 36, was found in her burning home on Fourth Street Southwest Dec. 22.
