No foul play is suspected in death

MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County Coroner’s Office is awaiting toxicology reports in the death this week of a man in his 30s but they do not suspect foul play.

Marshall Chad Rowan, 2094 R.L. Sears Road, was found dead at 9:13 a.m. Saturday.

Nancy Flanders, Rowan’s aunt, reported to law enforcement that she found Rowan kneeling on the floor in the living room when she returned home at that time.

She thought that he appeared dead and called authorities.

Flanders told officials that her nephew had no history of medical conditions. Deputy Coroner Kevin Wimberly said that the death appears to have been from natural causes but he is waiting for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to return toxicology results in the case.
