TIFTON —
Ashley Mock has been named the director of public relations at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College by ABAC President David Bridges.
Bridges made the appointment on Feb. 1. Mock, who married C.J. Mock of Valdosta in November, was made interim director of public relations in June 2011 with the retirement of Mike Chason.
“Ashley has been with us for five years now, and she has handled her duties and responsibilities very well,” Bridges said. “I am confident that she will continue to do a great job moving the college forward.”
Mock joined ABAC on June 19, 2007, with a bachelor of fine arts in communication degree with an emphasis in public relations from Valdosta State University. She received her master of arts in communication degree from VSU in July 2011.
“I fell in love with ABAC the first day on the job,” Mock said. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue to spread the word about ABAC.”
