MOULTRIE —
Two Moultrie business employees and a resident reported Monday someone caused damage to property. No items were reported stolen, but all three reported finding windows broken out.
The known amount of damage caused in the incidents was estimated at about $350. Those who reported being victims were:
• An employee at Kimbrell Service Center on South Main Street reported someone broke out a window of a customer’s Ford Expedition and damaged a customer’s Acura TL and a Ford Crown Victoria between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.
• Angel Pope, of Seventh Avenue Southeast, reported someone broke out a bedroom window between 8 p.m. Sunday and 8:36 p.m. Monday. Damage was estimated at about $150.
• An officer responded to an alarm at Auto Zone on First Avenue Southeast Monday and found someone threw a rock through a front glass door. Damage was about $200.
Arrests
Moultrie Police
• Venustio Guzman Ramirez, 37, of 139 Green St., Lot 4, was charged Monday with driving without a license and failure to yield at an intersection.
Sheriff’s Office
• Victor Tyrone Roberts, 35, of 486 Big Bear Blvd. in Norman Park, was charged Monday with speeding, DUI less safe driver and obstruction.
• Everett Louis Smith, 42, of 642 Dunn Road, Lot 9, was charged Saturday with simple battery.
Other Incidents
Moultrie Police
• An employee at Colony Bank on North Veterans Parkway reported finding a counterfeit bill Monday.
• Jim Cravey, of Pine Valley Circle, reported someone stole his bank card and used it between 8 a.m. Friday and 9:50 a.m. Monday. The amount used fraudulently on the card was about $1,500.
• An employee at Wal-Mart on South Veterans Parkway reported Monday a thief stole $792.43 cash from the store Aug. 22 using a system of purchasing drinks.
• An employee at Ameris Bank on First Avenue Southeast reported finding a counterfeit $20 bill in a business deposit Monday.
Sheriff’s Office
• Jerry Lupo reported a thief stole two sets of aluminum stairs, an air conditioning unit and a refrigerator from his rental property on St. Paul Church Road between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $1,700.
