Christmas parade winners

MOULTRIE — Moultrie City Council, back row, honored winners of the 2012 Christmas parade float competition at Tuesday’s council meeting. Winners included: Schools, R.B. Wright, 1st place, Moultrie Technical College, 2nd place, and Hamilton Elementary, 3rd place; Church, Pine Grove Baptist, 1st, Church of God, 2nd, and Autreyville Baptist, 3rd; Commercial Business (21+ employees), Cox Truck and Van, 1st, Lowe’s, 2nd, and KFC, 3rd; Commercial Business (20 employees or less), Sparkman’s Dairy, 1st, The Moultrie Observer, 2nd, and DJ’s to Go, 3rd; and Club/Organization, Pavo Civic Club, 1st, and Colquitt County Saddle Club, 2nd.
