MOULTRIE — Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club of Moultrie-Colquitt County has started its early registration for next year’s afterschool program. The membership fee is $10 and the afterschool fee is $25 per semester. The club is located at 420 West Central Avenue. For more information, please call Sandra McGee at 229-890-8600.

Holiday library program

“Children’s Holiday Story Time” will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m. Children are invited to listen to stories, make a craft and enjoy a snack. Please register your child for this event by calling the libary at 229-985-6540. This program will also be bilingual.

AARP Christmas party

The Annual June Maule AARP Christmas Party will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Maule Pilot Lounge. AARP Georgia is providing the party food. This event honors the volunteers and Ethel Andrus Award winner Carl Dasher.  Reservations are required by calling William at 229-890-5542.

Santa to visit museum

Santa will be at the Museum of Colquitt County History on Sunday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 5 p.m. Bring a camera to take pictures with him.

The museum is located at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Fifth Street Southeast.
