MOULTRIE —
A Moultrie man who suffered minor injuries in a Friday night single-vehicle accident faces DUI and other charges.
The Georgia State Patrol said that Waylon Joe Selph, 33, lost control of a 2002 GMC Yukon at about 11:27 p.m. on a curve in the 1500 block of Georgia Highway 111.
The Yukon went off the left side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and came back across the road before hitting the ditch, agency reports said. The truck then rolled over and came to rest on the driver’s side.
Selph was treated at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The GSP has charged him with driving under the influence, possession of an open container, failure to maintain lane, possession of marijuana, seat belt violation and driving while unlicensed or license expired.
