Murder victim's funeral set for Friday

MOULTRIE — Funeral services were announced Wednesday for a woman allegedly killed during a carjacking Friday night.

Dominga Martinez Trejo, 57, of Norman Park, will be laid to rest Friday, Nov. 16, with funeral services at Baker Funeral Home and burial at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

A bank account has been set up in Trejo’s name at South Georgia Banking Co. to help the family with those funeral expenses. Donations may be made at any branch of the bank or by mail at Dominga Trejo Fund, P.O. Box 3848, Moultrie, Ga. 31776.

Alphonso Moore, 20, of Coolidge, was arrested Sunday and charged with murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Officers of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation accused Moore of abducting Trejo between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday at a convenience store. Her body was found around 10 p.m. at Regency Village mobile home park, not far from the store.

Trejo’s car was found Saturday morning in Coolidge, the GBI said.
