Regional Commission Council Meeting
The Southwest Georgia Regional Commission will hold the August council meeting on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in Camilla, Ga., at the Regional Commission offices.

Macedonia Baptist Church will have its annual Women’s Day program on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m. Sis. Chestine Walden will be the speaker. The Rev. Clinton Clark Jr. is pastor.
Free Genealogy Study Group
The Free Genealogy Study Group will meet 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Public Library in the Willocoxon Room. There will be refreshments at 6:15 p.m. The topic for the evening will be “What I Learned this Summer.”
Deacon, Deaconess, Trustees and Wives Anniversary
St. James Freewill Baptist Church will celebrated its Deacon, Deaconess, Trustees and Wives Anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church and its pastor, Elder George Elliott of Quitman, Ga., will be in charge of services. Elder Joe Powell is pastor.
Revival
New Birth Christian Center, 806 Doc Darbyshire Road, will have a revival Wednesday, Aug. 19 - Friday, Aug. 21, 7:30 p.m. nightly. Apostle Danny K. Smith is pastor and overseer.
