Police make several arrests

MOULTRIE — City and county authorities made several arrests Thursday on a variety of charges. They included:

Moultrie Police

• James Andrew Parker, 54, of 127 Shady Grove Road, was charged Thursday with operating a business without a license.

• Fredrick Bernard Howard, 37, of 1204 13th St. S.W., was charged Thursday with driving with a suspended license (third offense), speeding, driving with an expired tag and contempt of court.

• Joshua Michael Horne, 34, of 3339 Tillman Road in Berlin, was charged Friday with vagrancy.

• Rafael R. King, 31, of 1330 Highway 319 N., Lot 88, in Norman Park, was charged Friday with DUI (second offense), driving with a suspended license, failure to maintain lane and tag lights required.

• A 16-year-old girl was charged with illegally operating a vehicle.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Caster Ana Rodriguez, 34, of 914 Smith Road, Lot 3, was charged Friday with burglary.



Other Incidents:

Moultrie Police

• Rusty Horne reported a thief stole his 18-foot trailer from C&C; Mechanical on Highway 319 South between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen trailer was $4,000.

• Sonja Tatum, of Ninth Street Southeast, reported someone damaged the trunk and rear window of her Toyota Camry between 1:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Betty Funches, of Eighth Avenue Southeast, reported a thief stole a Dynex 32-inch television between noon Monday and 7:35 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen television was $500.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• Danny Perkins, of Causey Road, reported someone cut a tire on his Dodge Dakota between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Damage was $200.
