MOULTRIE — The organizers of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade, held Monday iin Moultrie, announced the winners of the best float contest.
First place went to Sunset Elementary School; second to Live Oak Baptist Church; and third to Culbertson Head Start.
Community remembers fallen officers
Moultrie police arrested two men and a woman after an assault was reported Thursday at a grocery store.
The canning plant located at Colquitt County High School will open on Monday, May 20, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to noon. The plant will operate these hours on May 20, 22, 27 and 30.
