Deputies say suspect kicked window from patrol car

MOULTRIE — A man accused of kicking out a patrol car window Friday faces felony charges of damaging public property as well as other charges related to a domestic dispute and tussle with officers.

Waylon Joe Selph, 33, 235 Kendalwood Church Road, was charged with interference with government property, obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office reports said.

“Deputies got called out on a possible domestic dispute,” sheriff’s Inv. Mike Murfin said. “The deputies ended up placing Waylon Selph under arrest for disorderly conduct.”

Selph struggled with the two deputies before he was placed into a patrol car, Murfin said.

“He so happened to kick the rear window glass out of a patrol car,” he said.
