MOULTRIE — Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church, 318 West Central Ave., will be having it’s Annual Family and Friends Day Program this Sunday, Sept. 27, with the theme “A Family that Prays Together Stays Together.”
The program will begin at 11 a.m. with a break period at 1 p.m. and will get back into full swing that same day at 2:30 p.m., with guest speaker, the Rev. Willie Love.
Love was ordained about 24 years ago and has been preaching and teaching since. He is currently pastoring two churches, the First African Missionary Baptist Church and Okaphilco Missionary Baptist Church, where he has been pastoring for 14 years, both of the churches are located in Doerun.
He has been married to Alma Lewis Love, for 12 years. He is the son of the late Willie Love Sr. and Jeannette Love of Albany, Ga. He attended the public schools of Worth County School System. He has been employed by the Target Distribution Center in Tifton, Ga. for 15 years. He pastored the Salvation Holiness Church of Albany for three years and served as the youth pastor of New Beulah Grove Baptist Church of Sylvester, Ga. for one year.
“He brings a wealth of Biblical knowledge and anointing to the pulpit and you are in for a treat.
