Weekend notes numerous arrests

MOULTRIE — City and county law enforcement made numerous arrests over

the weekend on a wide variety of criminal charges.

They included:

Moultrie Police

• Stacy J. Sims, 27, of 109 30th Ave. N.E., was charged Friday with no proof of insurance, driving with suspended registration, acquiring a license plate to conceal identity and probation violation.

• Timothy Bell, 27, of 241 Mathis Ave. in Doerun, was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

• Ricky B. Palmore, 42, of 309 Ninth St. N.W., was charged Friday with theft by taking.

• Daryl Smith, 47, of 924 Third Ave. S.W., was charged Friday with theft by shoplifting.

• Fredrick Alton Cody, 45, of 716 Seventh Ave. S.E., was charged Friday with battery (family violence) and two counts of criminal trespassing.

• Johnny Derrick Virgil, 26, of 710 Ninth Ave. S.E., was charged Saturday with criminal attempt to commit burglary and probation violation.

• R.C. Richardson III, 28, of 111 1/2 11th St. S.W., was charged Saturday with driving without a license, giving false information to an officer and two counts of probation violation.

• Elbernezer Walker, 37, of 413 Sixth St. N.W., was charged Sunday with vagrancy.

• Tee’gra Owens, 19, of 1921 Boas St. in Harrisburg, Pa., was charged Sunday with driving without a license and failure to stop at a stop sign.

• Tony Lee Hiers, 54, of 139 Rogers St., was charged Sunday with possession of cocaine and defective equipment.

• Antonio Lerdard Stewart, 27, of 2157 Highway 133 N., was charged Saturday with driving without a license.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Kendra Nicole Reynolds, of 64 Pine Lake Road in Thomasville, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and illegal possession of alcohol.

• Benjamin Malachi Mavity, 18, of 119 Maggie Drive in Thomasville, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct and illegal possession of alcohol.

• Michael Chad Bryant, 25, of 1717 Bay Rockyford Road, was charged Friday with obstruction, attempting to elude officers, criminal trespassing and DUI.

• Teavis Donyell Williams, 23, of 176 William Way, was charged Wednesday with three counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

• Tony Robin Landrum, 47, of 2810 Highway 33 N., was charged Friday with battery (family violence), three counts of cruelty to children (second degree) and disorderly conduct.

• Mario Alvarado, 18, of 1818 Overlook Drive, was charged Friday with simple battery (family violence).

• Juan Lopez Alvarez, 27, of 654 Ben Baker Road, was charged Sunday with DUI, driving without a license and no proof of insurance.

• Coronado Carneto Cruz, 40, of 1319 Ty Ty-Omega Road in Tifton, was charged Friday with driving without a license and an open container violation.



Doerun Police

• Courtney Jermaine Spradley, 28, of 1000 10th St. S.E., was charged Friday with DUI, reckless driving, giving false information to an officer and driving with a suspended license.



Georgia State Patrol

• Oscar Santiago Solorio, 17, of Highland Apartments, Apt. 48, was charged Sunday with driving without a license and a seatbelt violation.



Other Incidents:

Moultrie Police

• Courtney Almond, of Ninth Street Southwest, reported someone scratched all around her Ford Explorer Saturday. Damage was estimated at about $500.



Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office

• An employee with David Taylor Construction on Highway 319 North reported someone threw a piece of iron through a door window between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. Damage was estimated at $400.

• Zonthony Clark reported someone slashed all four tires on his Chevrolet Caprice while it was parked on Highway 319 North between noon Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday. Damage was $200. Clark gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a female suspect.
