New Dawn Singing Union
The New Dawn Singing Union will be held Thanksgiving morning at St. Paul C.O.G.I.C. in Coolidge at 7 a.m. The speaker will be the Rev. Richard Hewitt of Moultrie. Breakfast will be served after the program.

Fall Festival Family Fun Day
A Fall Festival Family Fun Day will be held from 1 until 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Crosland. Food, games, an outdoor movie and lots of fun for everyone.
Revival
A revival will be held at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Crosland beginning at 7 p.m., Nov. 26-28. The evangelist will be Bishop Terrance Calloway of New Life Community Baptist Church of Atlanta.
Outdoor Worship Service
An outdoor evangelistic worship service will be held at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Norman Park at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30. Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Crosland is leading the service.
Fifth Sunday Night Sing
New Elm Baptist Church, located at 5226 Ga. Hwy. 33 N. (Sylvester Hwy.), will have a Fifth Sunday Night Sing starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30. Jimbo Jarvis will present a mini-concert of gospel music.

Tragedy to keep Ryan James from graduation
Ryan won’t walk after all.
A hue and cry went up earlier this week when the Colquitt County Board of Education refused to let a senior with a developmental disability walk at today’s graduation. The board reversed its decision on Wednesday, but tragic events will prevent Ryan James from joining his classmates at Mack Tharpe Stadium. -
