Carbon monoxide victims leave the hospital

Staff Reports

MOULTRIE — All 33 workers taken to the hospital Friday after being exposed to carbon monoxide have been released, a Colquitt Regional Medical Center spokesman said Monday.

Thirty of the workers were released Friday, while three were kept overnight for observation before being released, said Gary Boley, hospital marketing director.

The workers were brought in Friday afternoon after there was a leak on a forklift at Little Rock Produce on Hopewell Church Road, a Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said.
