MOULTRIE — Four Colquitt County residents reported Thursday they were victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included a bicycle, copper wiring, a car CD player, a washing machine and school supplies.

The value of the items reported stolen was $3,260. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:

• Juanita Alford, of First Avenue Northeast, reported a thief stole a GE washing machine between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday. The value of the stolen washing machine was $379.

• Tracie Dabney, of Second Street Northwest, reported a thief stole her daughter’s Next bicycle from her front porch between noon and 4 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen bicycle was about $180.

• Brittany Gersham reported a thief stole a Panasonic CD player, three school books and clothes from her Daewoo Leganza while it was being serviced at Edwards Motors on South Veterans Parkway between Jan. 10 and 8 a.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen items was $1,201.

• Bobby Griner reported a thief stole copper wiring from an irrigation pivot at a field on Funston-Sale City Road in Funston between Jan. 24 and 9 p.m. Thursday. The value of the stolen copper was $1,500.

Arrests

Moultrie Police

• Stacy Lavon Curles, 38, of 322 Paul Murphy Road, was charged Thursday with failure to use a turn signal, no proof of insurance and driving with suspended registration.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Jose Perez Aguilar, 36, of 375 N. Slappey Blvd. in Albany, was charged Thursday with being a pedestrian under the influence.

• Manuel I. Supon, 36, of 375 N. Slappey Blvd. in Albany, was charged Thursday with being a pedestrian under the influence.

Other Incidents

Moultrie Police

• Calvin Murphy reported roofing material fell off of a delivery truck and damaged three lawn mowers at a business on North Main Street Thursday. Damage was about $9,950.

'Les Miserables' at CCHS
A cast of 70 students is putting the final touches on their upcoming presentation of the classic “Les Miserables.”
The Colquitt County High School Choral Department, will present “Les Miserables,” in the Withers Auditorium starting Thursday, Feb. 9, at 8 p.m. The show will run Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.
