TIFTON —
Participants can have some fun painting a picture in a very relaxed setting at the Bottles and Brushes art class on Feb. 17 from 6-9 p.m. at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. While enjoying their favorite beverage, aspiring artists will recreate “Curious Cow” by Brenda Rose.
Rose will guide participants through the process of recreating the original picture, while a piece of art materializes before their eyes.
Participants can bring their favorite beverage and sample a variety of local cheeses while enjoying an evening of creativity and fun. The Gallery at the Museum will provide the paint, canvas and brushes.
“We timed this month’s class to offer couples an opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a creative and unique way by attending an art class together and creating a piece of art while enjoying each other’s company,” Polly Huff, Museum Gallery Coordinator from the ABAC Arts Connection, said.
There is a fee of $25 per person for the class or $40 for a couple. Participants must register ahead of time by contacting Huff at (229) 391-5222 or by emailing her at phuff@abac.edu.
