Loud music attracts police attention

MOULTRIE — An Albany man’s love of loud music landed him in jail Tuesday night after a traffic stop revealed he was driving with a suspended license, the Moultrie Police Department said.

An officer stopped the 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by Kim Marlon Brown after noticing that music from the car could be heard “well in excess” of 100 feet, police reports said.

The officer stopped Brown at Fifth Avenue Southeast and Second Street Southeast, and when asked for a driver’s license Brown could provide only a Georgia identification card, the reports said. He then told the officer that his license is suspended.
