Recently, the Willie J. Williams, CA Gray Middle, CA Gray Junior High, and Colquitt County High School’s FFA Chapter held a joint social at the Packer Farm. The social was ‘Fall Festival’ themed and students were able to swim in the pond, play carnival games, and even dunk FFA advisor Shawn Collins in the dunking booth. The joint social was held to encourage members from each individual chapter to stay involved and to have a feeling of togetherness as Colquitt County FFA members. Students were served a meal and also had candied apples. There was a record 250 in attendance. Colquitt County High School FFA president Katie McLean said, ‘I was proud to be there and see the 6th graders who are the future of our chapter be so excited about FFA. It made me feel like after we are gone and graduated, it will be left in good hands.’
