The Colquitt County High School FFA Land Judging Team won the Area 5 FFA Land Judging Career Development Event. The event was held at Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, in September. Team members Colin Bentley, Cameron Boyd, Zach Merritt, and Tyler Stewart will participated in state competition Nov. 9 at the University of Georgia in Athens. The state winner will advance to the national competition in Oklahoma.
Gardening journals are very important in documenting items of importance in the landscape. The first day of summer is officially June 21st. The official day of summer here at the Colquitt County Arts Center is Monday, June 3rd. That is because this is the first day of our United Way Summer Fine Arts Camp.
