Miller speaks to Keenagers

Staff Reports

MOULTRIE — The Rev. Wayne Woods introduced David Miller, traveling evangelist and country

preacher -at-large. Miller spoke to the Keenagers for the October Meeting.

The crowd seemed awed at his ability to remember the scriptures so well and speak without any notes. He seemed to be a great spokesman and got many chuckles from the audience. He preached the revival at First Baptist also.

Marvin Clayton presided over the meeting and opened with a warm welcome to the members and visitors. Lorena Hildebrandt said the blessing for the covered dish Luncheon.

Sam Stephens reminded the group of the upcoming trips and passed out sign-up sheets and also read some humorous stories. The Three Church meeting was held in Valdosta on Nov. 12.

On Nov. 17, the Keenagers went to see some syrup making, with Lewis Tyus and eat lunch in Cairo, Ga.

A trip to see the Gaithers in Tallahassee, Fla. will be on Feb. 5, and anyone who wants to go can call the church office and sign up.

Birthday honorees for the month of October were Marilyn Demott, Loren Hildebrandt, Lester Parker and Neil Schoonover. Door prizes went to Jacqueline Roberts and William McPearson.

Lorena Hildebrandt prayed for the ones on the prayer list and those that were orally added and said the benediction.
