Waldo DeLoache Charitable Trust, managed by Southwest Georgia Bank (SGB), gave a $20,000 donation to the MTC Foundation. The donation will cover the exam fee of $95 per student for more than 200 students. ‘There is no better way for funds from the trust to be used than to support education in our community. By taking care of the exam fee, we are removing one of the obstacles that students face when pursuing their GED. So congratulations to each student on their accomplishment, and on behalf of the bank, we are proud to be able to help,’ said Geraldine Luff, senior vice president and trust officer of Southwest Georgia Bank. Grants from the trust are intended as special project grants to approved 501C3 public charitable entities that benefit the people of Moultrie and Southwest Georgia.
