Moultrie Lions Club Christmas Banquet

The Moultrie Lions Club Christmas Banquet, honoring the Camp for the Blind, was held at Bentleys. Jan Sinclair, president, called the meeting to order. Ron Horn introduced Kristen Picus, director for the camp. She discussed the activities that were taught to help the campers become stronger and more independent. About $3,000 in contributions from Moultrie, Valdosta, the Colquitt County LEO Clubs and guests was presented to Picus for the camp.

BOTTOM LEFT: A LEO Club is sponsored at Willie J. Willams Middle School and Charlie A. Gray Junior High. The members get experience helping people in the community, collecting food and helping at the food bank and working at the concessions stand during the football games. Shown are Mandy Zeigler, Hester Lozano, Juan Lozano, Martha Torres, Noemil Garcia and Nancy Buendia. The club advisors who attended were Charla Brinson, Virginia Gay and Brenda Arnold.
