Sunshine Club plays bingo at May meeting

MOULTRIE — The Sunshine Club at Oak Dale Baptist church met in May and played bingo.

Stan Spruill was the caller and Sammy Hiers, Gail Morris, LaRue Abbott, Faye Rowe, Karen Hiers and Mabel Thomason were the winners.

Marian Allyn opened the meeting and welcomed the members and guests. The Rev. Sammy Hiers had the devotion, Psalms 100: 2. Karen Hiers said the blessing for the covered dish dinner.

Birthday honorees for the month of May were Mildred Rentz, Eunice Hall, and Karen Hiers.

Laura McCorkle read the minutes of the last meeting.

Mildred Rentz arranged fresh spring flowers on each table from her yard. Door prizes were won by Faye Rowe, Adaline Gibbs and Lorena Barhite. There were 17 attending the meeting.
